The Alpha - Tau Center is a legally accredited, nonprofit research institute founded in 1996. Its founder and director is Georgios Velisiotis, Th.M. Its main aim is to use modern electronic technology across all areas of interest and concern within the broad field of the Hebrew Scriptures and Ancient Jewish Literature. Although this highly innovative venture is based in Greece, the center is international in its scope and collaborates with related research institutes all over the world.
